The Problem:
A boutique hotelier needed a property that would stand out in a competitive market. The catch? The site was a narrow, sloping plot squeezed between two noisy highways. A challenge, but also an opportunity.
My Approach:
When life gives you slopes, you build terraces. I turned the site’s constraints into an advantage by creating a tiered design. Each level offered unique views, giving guests a sense of discovery as they moved through the property.
The Vision:
I wanted guests to feel like they were stepping into an oasis of calm. Rooftop gardens, cascading waterfalls, and a muted color palette all worked together to create a serene atmosphere. It’s a space designed to make people forget they’re anywhere near a highway.
The Technical Details:
Soundproofing was non-negotiable. We used double-layered glass facades and acoustic insulation to ensure the interiors were whisper-quiet. Smart air filtration systems guaranteed clean air, and solar panels on the terraces offset the hotel’s energy needs.
The result? A hotel that became an “elevated zen experience” for guests and a hit among influencers.
